Preparation of a lighting framework / masterplan for the upgrade of lighting to the historically important Golden Lane Estate in the City of London. This grade 2 / Grade 2* listed residential estate designed by Chamberlin, Powell and Bon is the sister estate and forerunner of the Barbican.
Lighting strategies needed to respond to both the need for placemaking - development of a safe and comfortable environment for residents and to remain in keeping with the designers original intent and ethos.
