St Michael's Church, Farnborough Abbey


Interior lighting to the church and crypt designed by architect Gabriel-Hippolyte Destailleur in a French Gothic style and built in the 1880's. The Benedictine Abbey was founded by Empress Eugénie and the church crypt built as a mausoleum to Napolean III. Eugénie heself is also interned there along with their son the Prince Imperial.

The scheme is carefully conceived with discrete and concealed equipment and comprehensive controls to facilitate the liturgical requirements of the Abbey.
